Awaken your body, mind and spirit through conscious and harmonious movements.

The root of the word "yoga" is "yuj" which means union. Yoga is an ancient discipline born in India, with 2000 years of history. It works with body, mind and spirit in a holistic manner. It is a practical and intuitive knowledge that focuses on health, illness, body, emotions and mind.

 

When you harmonize body, mind and spirit, you will gently but quickly learn to remove tension from your body, improve your well-being, and calm yourself. By practicing your authentic and natural asanas (postures), you will find it easy to strengthen your tone and deeply relax your body. For beginners and experienced practitioners alike, our classes provide all the benefits of yoga:

 

  • Vitality, joy, health and relaxation

  • Inner peace, strength and concentration

  • The energy and vitality of pranayama (breathing practices)

  • Opening of the body to cosmic vibration

Our classes are taught by Cynthia Salinas, and are Body Awareness classes that combine Iyengar yoga with the Feldenkrais method.

CYNTHIA SALINAS

 

Cynthia is a traditional yoga teacher with 20 years of experience, who possesses the ability to transmit her joy through the practice and teaching of yoga. Her sensitivity, dedication and loyalty to her values enable her students to reconnect with their bodies and find the true beauty and harmony of their existence.

 

Her attitude and intuition help her students internalize the teachings smoothly and effortlessly. When yoga is taught correctly the body feels the new beginning of life and is able to express joy. By teaching us that taking care of our body is a simple act of humility, Cynthia takes us on a path that will help us to keep our mind and body pure.
