NATUS has occupied a special place in the Amayal ecosystem since its inception.

Throughout the years, from our center, we have been offering an endless number of workshops and conferences focused on the different practices necessary for a good birth and growth.

We had our first international Humanized Birth conference in 2006. During that first meeting we brought to Monterrey the most prestigious medical professionals in the field. Professionals from England, France. Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, United States and Mexico. Only two years later, we repeated, bringing once again world renowned professionals in the field of childbirth.

Conferences and workshops given by Michel Odent, (1930) French obstetrician and one of the most notable advocates of physiological childbirth in which external intervention is kept to a minimum. Ina May Gaskin, American midwife born in 1940 who has been called "the mother of authentic midwifery". Robbie Davis-Floyd, (1951) American anthropologist, researcher and author on birth, and the important role of midwives.

Ricardo Herbert Jones, Brazilian obstetrician and promoter of humanized childbirth, author of several books on the chronicles of a humanist obstetrician.

We have hosted numerous workshops by Barbara Harper. From water birth workshops to prenatal workshops such as Blissborn, developed with Laura Woods. These workshops are attended by midwives, doulas and gynecologists who receive the training and certification necessary to teach the workshop or apply the knowledge to their personal practice.

Guadalupe Trueba, world renowned Pre-Natal-educator has integrated into her workshop at Natus the use of the rebozo mexicano before, during and after birth. Wendy McCarthy has contributed her knowledge of the different psychological aspects of pregnancy and childbirth. Psychologist David Chamberlain has given his renowned workshop based on his book Windows of the Womb. In addition, we have counted with the contribution of the well-known Clinical Psychiatrist, Thomas R. Verny author of The Future Baby, The Art and Science of Parenting.

Alongside this variety of workshops and courses, Nélida Sandoval regularly offers Prenatal Yoga and a workshop on relaxing massage for babies.
