Most of us are unaware of the importance of digestive tract health, or how far we have distanced ourselves from it in the modern world. A large number of us were not breastfed, received exaggerated simultaneous vaccinations as children, and abused antibiotics and medications without control. We have been fed processed foods devoid of their integrity, and with added chemicals and toxic preservatives. Any one of these phenomena could have contributed to an early imbalance of gut flora - not to mention subsequent years of consuming processed foods, artificial sweeteners, genetically modified foods and produce grown with toxic chemicals and pesticides. For this reason, the introduction of solids in the first year of a baby's life must respect the developmental stage of the digestive tract and its ability to digest food correctly.

However, this is an issue that has never received due attention from either the

pediatrician or the mother, as there is a lack of understanding of the development of the digestive tract and the functioning of the microbiome.

In this workshop you will learn the different stages of development of the baby's digestive tract, from the day he/she is born until the age of one and a half. You will learn why appropriate foods should be introduced for each stage of development, and why these foods will allow the baby to digest and absorb each of them correctly. You will also learn the basic formulas for the preparation of foods necessary for good health.
